At RSI Bancorp (which currently includes such companies as RSI Bank and the RSI Insurance Agency) trust has always formed the basis of each of our customer relationships. Information About You
As part of providing you with any financial product or service, we collect certain nonpublic personal information (see “Information We Share” for examples) about you from such sources as:
  • Applications (i.e. loan applications, insurance applications, etc.) or other forms we receive from you whether in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically, or by any other means;

Giving You the Power to Choose
If you prefer that we not share nonpublic personal information about you with nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than those permitted by law).

If two or more customers jointly obtain a product or service from us, a request by one party to opt out of information sharing to nonaffiliated third parties will be treated as applying to the entire account.

Multiple Relationships
RSI Bancorp offers many products and services which will help you meet your financial goals. If you have two or more accounts with us (i.e. - loans, deposit, or insurance) a request to opt out of information sharing to nonaffiliated third parties will apply to all your account relationships with us.

Our Security Procedures
We understand that the protection of your nonpublic personal information is of utmost importance and guarding your privacy is our obligation. Therefore, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know the information in order to provide products and services to you and we educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. In order to provide you with the products and services needed to help you reach your financial goals, we select service companies to assist us in performing our business operations and providing services (ex. check ordering). We are very selective in choosing these companies and limit the information we provide them to that which is necessary to provide the service required. We also require these companies to comply with strict standards of security and confidentiality designed to protect our customers’ privacy.

Internet Privacy Practices

At RSI Bancorp, protecting the confidentiality of the information provided to us by our customers and website visitors is our priority. The following describes additional measures which we employ to protect your online privacy.

What We Collect and How We Use It
  • There are two ways information is collected from you during an online visit: information you voluntarily provide to us and information that is automatically collected. We use this information to respond to your needs and requests as well as improve, customize and personalize your online experience. Examples of how we collect this information is outlined below.
  • Online Banking: When you use any of our online services or apply for products and services online, we will have access to your information. In order to provide you with the services you have requested, we will retain this information on our systems and use it in accordance with our Privacy Policy outlined above.
  • E-mail Addresses: When you communicate with us via e-mail or when you complete one of our forms, we will retain the content of the e-mail or form, the e-mail address and our response. This allows us to maintain an audit trail of our response. We may also let you know by e-mail about products and services which may be of interest to you unless you request us not to. You may request us not to when you access our website.
  • Cookies: a “cookie” is a small piece of information sent by our server and stored on the user’s Internet browser. When you return to our website later, the “cookie” is transmitted back to the server that originally sent it to you. We may use these cookies to personalize your website visit. For example, they allow us to offer you products and services which you may be interested in and to monitor your online banking sessions. We do not use cookies to get your e-mail address or any personal identifying information. It does not contain and sensitive information such as a password or account number.
Third-Party Service Providers and the Internet:

We use third parties to assist us in providing products and services to you. We are very selective in choosing these companies. They are only allowed to use your information to provide the products and services which we have contracted with them to provide.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

We respect the privacy of your children and we do not knowingly collect or retain personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. We will comply with the practices established under COPPA.

Security

We are committed to making sure that your online information is safe and secure. That's why we have implemented standards to protect your nonpublic, personally-identifiable information. We restrict access to your information only to those employees whose job requires them to have such access. Also, in selecting companies to assist us in providing you with the products and services you desire, we are highly selective and require them to adhere to strict standards of security and confidentiality. You can also take steps to protect your financial information. Some suggestions are to NEVER reveal your online password or security codes to anyone; when exiting our website, please use the SIGN OFF button to log off; don’t leave your PC in the middle of a session without logging off, and; if other people have access to your computer, clear your browser’s cache in order to remove web pages which may have been stored temporarily (your browser should have instructions for doing this).

Aggregators are companies that will consolidate your account information from many different sources. While this service offers convenience, you will be required to provide that company with authentication information for each account (i.e. your log-in data). Providing such information to an aggregator may result in the unauthorized access and use of your confidential information if the company does not have adequate controls in place. To protect yourself, make sure that the aggregator has taken the appropriate steps to ensure the privacy and security of your information. We cannot be responsible for the unauthorized access and use of your confidential information should you choose to use one of these services.

We generally do not own these companies and do not control how those companies use the information you provide them. FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT DISCLOSURE

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act Notice of Opportunity to opt Out of Information Sharing with Our Affiliates, we are permitted by law to share with our affiliates information concerning a customer's account history and experiences with us.

RSI Bancorp currently includes RSI Bank (“Bank”) and the RSI Insurance Agency, Inc. (“Agency”) (a wholly owned subsidiary of RSI Bank).
